One year after Frère Roger from Taizè

These are days just…well…have no words to define them…the exams are coming closer but I have no will to study…

At the office I don’t like to stay…the boss is always more hysterical and rambling speaking and I can’t face her more then 10 minutes without tell her something back…so it’s better to stay away as much as possible…

The chemistry seems to act only for the collateral effects for the moment…exactly for the sleepiness…

I’m always falling asleep everywhere, my mind is not working at all...always asking to lye down for a while…but then I spent my nights looking at the ceiling…

Ok, it’s only the 4^th one I take...give it time…hope not too much…

I also restart my physical activity, following the program received by the trainer Antonio by the gym…

MONDAY: Running, exercises for the abdominals and legs and stretching plus postural exercises…

WEDNESDAY: Swimming pool

FRIDAY: Running, stretching plus postural exercises…

SUNDAY: Bicycle…130’ minutes around good speed…

Someone wants to join me??

Well, actually I’m particularly “strange”…my feet are completely different, one looks on a side , the other is used only on a side, my pelvis is rotate with the right part advanced compared to the left, my left shoulder is lower then the right (because of the several bicycle crashes I had)…well…it seems there is nothing working…I’m 30 (and a bit) and I’m already to make scrap out…I can use the benefits the Italian government is giving out for this in this period….good idea??

The will to leave is still there, don’t worry…and also the will to stay with people, to change this job where I stay 10 hours in front of a Pc who is not speaking at all…apart when it write on the screen “irreversible error-I’m shutting down”..

Well, better to go back to my books…maybe the night will bring any advice…

For now just remember… Taizè and the sentence from the group of relatives of Anonymous heavy drinkers..

Big and expensive troubles for “King Lion”. Mario Cipollini, one of stronger and faster cyclists on the world in the last years is involved in a judge because of a tax evasion….Following the Tax Office he wouldn’t had pay tax on 5 millions Euro gained between 2000 and 2004.Despite of his moving his settlement to Montecarlo in 1995, he has kept leaving in Lucca where lots of people are testing about this; their children are attending the local school, several costumers and people can witness his presence in Italy. Proceeds coming from signing on fee, adverts, tv shows should have been paid to the Italian government. He could sane his situation paying 1,5 millions Euro to the tax office, even if there is also another situation relate to 1995-1999 period still under exam...

Touched him!, one over a lots…I like to follow cyclism, to watch it on tv, to read about it on the newspaper…I like to see that some hills I hard-won in several hours are gained by someone else in a while, with no fatigue and to think “things from another world”…That they use drugs is obvious…who, between normal people can face 3000 km and how many meter height difference in 3 weeks at those speeds?? Someone said: “in the past they use to dope to arrive first, now they use to dope to not arrive last!” Is also obvious that they take lots of money (someone particularly)…like football players, pilots and so on…but they are making fool of us once more!!  Thanks, thanks a lot for the warm participation to this special day…!To tell the truth I really didn’t expect such a participation…instead..I felt you all around me, singing “Happy birthday”“how old??”…well, I think I’ll change the question… next one…or you can value it using an anemometer …yes the instrument to measure the wind power…looking at the power you’ll see how much I inflate to “turn off”(don0t know the correct word) the quantity of candles on the cake…well, we can’t speak anymore about cake…it’s already too big to be a cake…we need something bigger…any idea?And please, don’t tell me , as someone did this morning…”next year you’ll be 33, as Jesus…”…That will be NEXT YEAR...you said right!!Let’s talk about something else now….

Raphael Poirée during the world Biathlon Cup in Ruhpolding (Germany), for her daughter born he has written her name and her birthday date on his bottom.  An other ridiculous thing demonstrating how Italians are considered around the world is about the young boy from an Italian High school has been refused by the Cambridge University (even though with a really high grade CV) because they said they know quite well the Italian Cultural level, of course not high enough to face the English school….Eh eh…maybe they are right…can’t tell it!Just know Italian school is not such a great organisation…of course…we need to change it radically….What do an English think about this? Bye, have a nice evening

Well, this is not WINTER

this seems SPRING

Noway!! today it has been impossible to escape!!
I've tryied everything...the alarm clock out of order, the car broke down, the gate shut and even the neighbour who needed someone to share time with, but...nothing works....I HAD TO GO BACK.

...it ahs been as jump back in 2006...! Normally it's "new year  -  new life"...but for me, enter to the office has been. SAME MUSIC of last year...the "two" are still there, same as before, she speaking, speaking, speaking with no rest that if you record her you risk to destroy the type recorder in a while, and he ( the husband) always moving up and down his head agreeing with her in everything!! ...

and me and the engeneer lauthing at all this...just trying to not "died" because of this tension always on!
but, finding a stupid reasn, I escape and I'm at home now, working listening to MY music, with MY silence around...
In a while I'm going out to have some shopping...
see youlater, there are some interesting things on the news today..I'd like to tell U something about!

Well, it's last day, but...still for this morning the alarm clock didn't work!!!

TOmorrow it will show you, with its lancets, the way to the door and to work...but today..it's still silenced!!

well...it's nearly time...
because we haven't eaten enough these days...because in a week we are having two birthday parties, because...someone ( my sister) made a mistake buying stuff for New Year's Eve...
because all these "troubles"...this evening we are having:

And also if someone says that...the Epiphany all the fest is carrying away...just don’t believe it !!!!
They are the same that say that Father Christmas does not exist !!!Just joking! I know a lot of witches and…I’m attending a course too ( but don’t tell anyone !) with final stage...it’s going to be occasional work, but always work!And you have no idea about the problems with law about the security on work places....
Hope all you have been good so there won’t be such a lot of coal in your socks.
Sorry, really have to go...I don’t want to be late...stage is going on just once In the year !

Today it has been one of those days where you turn around turn around and you don’t finish nothing…one of those days where you turn yourself back and ask yourself “what have I been doing today?”
Well, to tell the truth I did things, exactly, in order…
1. I took a decision about my life (one within a lot but it’s particularly important for my life…personal reasons) regarding my brain working;
2. I bought glasses for my eyes...it’s already time to start restoration of my body…the age is growing every day older…so…I has been obliged!
3. finally the ADSL, the fast internet line is on…I can finally surf the web now at a super speed…wonderful…can’t believe it! In the while I’m listening to an English radio on the web while before I had just to listen Italian radio on the little lack box with the cable!
What I haven’t done…?

Well, above all…open my study books…but the exam date is coming closer so…this is not a great thing…ouh no!
I’ve got 4 book to read still and they are not so thin…not at all!

TAIZE’
I’m still thinking about Zagreb…
With the time going on…you have time to thing about it more and more…think about what happened, review all the imagines of those days, feel again all the emotions felt …ckosing your eyes you can see as a movie in your brain…all you’ve done you’ve seen…you’ve felt….
And smelling a sausages or a beef taste…well, it’s a fast jump back…in what has been…
Well…nothing to compare with the finally really famous Taizè tin…similar to the Army’s…do you remember the movie “don’t open that door”…well similar...”don’t open that tin….”there’s a risk of contamination…they are probably like the Army’s one…with a date “best before” closing on next thirty years
Of course better what you had in family…apart the quantity…as much as Obelix’s one!
I’ve already participate to a lot of those meetings around Europe and in France too…especially for Easter…nothing better than spend a few days during Easter period I Taizè with a lot of young than stay in the parish with the “always the same” holy mass and so on….
There’s no paragon!

What do you think? Well, I’m almost convinced they are quite abandoned especially from young…they are not giving any more hope to people…especially if you cross a priest pessimistic and dark inside who can0t give you any help and relief!

TO LEAVE

Well...I think these are in some way a leaving! I left some old ideas and ways for new ones…who can say…maybe these are the right one and I’ve waited until now to change!!!Maybe the short stay in Zagreb, the great people full of joy of life and energy, gave me the will to start!!and what about if I haven't gone!?!

Yesterday it has been a strange day..I'll tell you later about it!

Well,
after a few days in Zagreb for New Year’s Eve, I’m here again!
Yes, it was really Zagreb, in Croatia…and as everybody know…it’s not European Community…so you need to have “kune” or a valid credit card to go there and survive…everyone but me!!!!
This is obvious to everybody, as other things are…things linked to the event I was there for…the European Meeting of young people of Taizè….
What?? You don’t know it??
Well, it’s an ecumenical community composed by brothers of several nationality that all year long welcome young people looking for meaning of their life.
At the end of every year they organize a meeting somewhere in a big European city, as they‘ve already done for the last thirty years.
Obviously the city should be big enough to welcome the thousands people coming…As much as possible they are hosted in host families found in the parishes of the chosen city which give them a bed or even a little place where to open a sleeping bag…
This is the best way to share, for a few days, moments of life and friendship with people from other countries….
This year we were just a few less then other years, but not less then 40.000…not too bad, what do you reckon?
And the meeting, above all for me, who left not really convinced about, has been wonderful, a great experience!
No doubts! I could stay with very beautiful people...beautiful inside…starting from the family who hosted me to the people I shared time in parish or hanging around Zagreb…
They have been so nice!

IN FAMILY
In family I learnt the meaning of “donate”, I found out how it’s completely true that if you have nothing you give all…that it’s possible to be happy even in nothing, in the little things, in the warm of the family…and also without D&G or Trussardi or what ever, the children were living the same, without Play Station or Nintendo or the Pc they were more active, more invite to grown up in an intelligent way, more interested to try things, to experimented….
And the fact to be around alone wasn’t a problem at all, they were absolutely able to look after them self and organize everything in the house and outside.
And above all, at 9 and 13 years old they were speaking English in a good manner, thing absolutely unthinkable in Italy for children same age.

IN THE GROUP
Also in the group I found interesting meditation ideas …meeting other people, other ideas is something really stimulating me…so, I practiced my English a bit and I had the possibility to look at the world with another pair of glasses, different from those I normally have…A way to understand there are several opportunities, stories and ways I haven’t walk yet and maybe never do, but I would have known about them at least!
I’ve also see how my English has to be improved and this lighted a “new fire” in me…a new idea…about leaving again!
In particular I shared my time with 2 English boy and a Lithuanian girl…no words to tell about the nice experience….

Now it’s time to thanks someone…
1. the host family, really special! Also for the quantity of food they were always preparing and offering…( always meat and eggs with lots of ketchup even at breakfast, but it was ok) and for the wonderful Croatian football team t-shirt received by the father the day I left
2. the English friends Richard and Peter and the Lithuanian Eva…for all the laughs but also serious moments we had together in the simplicity and “peace of heart” of those days
3. all the people in the group and in the parish, all the other 40.000 praying together
4. the Italian friends who, in the moment of no sureness before leaving, pushed me to leave...and they have been right!

NEXT DATE
Well, now it’s time to invite you all for next time, at the next meeting that is in Ginevre (Swiss) from the 28th December to the 1st January…or directly in Taizè just to taste the environment…and the special feeling to be there!

Well, that’s maybe just the beginning of a long life trip…who can say…
